Perhaps you've seen this sign as you drove past the airport, on Kingwood Drive? It announces that soon, the Oregon Coast Military Heritage Museum will be breaking ground at that location! Initial donations by veterans and other members of our community have provided the means to begin clearing the property we currently lease from the City of Florence, and soon after the land is cleared you'll begin to see other activities on the site, such as footings and the foundation! So once this begins, drive by periodically and watch us grow!
